Tapered Candles,
The Elegant Choice....

The tapered candles has to be the type of candle of all the candles that is the most elegant of them all. Whether is the colorful advent candles, a wedding ceremony, a table setting at a fancy restaurant or an elegant dinner at home. The tapered candles fit the bill perfectly.

scented soy tapered candles And yes they are made from soy also and any other kind of natural wax. When having an elegant dinner or a beautiful ceremony the last thing you want to have wafting through the air is a vulgar petroleum smell.

There are some churches that have become aware of different candles that have different waxes and different qualities. Some have banned candles altogether. We need to educate these places, so candles can once again be used in our ceremonies, with out worry.

Is to explain and educate anyone we come into contact with about the cleanliness and the organic features of scented soy candles. And especially these traditional candles, which have taken the brunt of this criticism.

I always like to say "the facts are in the wax" we just need to have everyone understand the benefits of all the natural waxes. Rest assured there is some one out there right now making a tapered candle with a natural wax. I know because I use them. And you will too.

When I say the Most Traditional...

Even back in the day when "mom" had that long box tucked away somewhere and usually when the electricity went out. This long box would come out and there they would be. Like a box of precious stones, these long white sticks, they were beautiful, some were half burnt and some were brand new.

And once they were lit, it didn't make any difference. It put magic in the air and it still does today.

How this candle come into being....

The first candle makers of these candles, hung wicks from a piece of wood and the wick was dipped over and over again. Let cool, and again dipped over and over. This process was repeated until the candle was thick enough to satisfy the candle makers requirements.

The process has not changed much today, as there are many people who make this classic candle the same way. But most candle makers today use molds of one sort or another. They mostly use seamless metal molds now to form the perfect candle.
