Soy Tarts

soy tarts,candle tarts,candle melts,wax melts

First off....ALL the rules that apply to soy candles apply here also. Some may mistakenly think, just because I am melting these little gems of relaxation and not burning them, no need to worry.

One word... "VAPORS"

That's right, vapors, that swirling aroma that your melt is throwing off is carried by the vapors. SO it is understandable if there is anything un-natural in the wax, it will be included in those vapors.

So stick with the all, 100% percent soy wax with these little guys or gals. Or, at the very least make sure it is made from all natural waxes. Let's go over them again, soy wax, vegetable wax, palm wax, bees wax, and bayberry wax.

A MELT....by any other name! What?

I guess it is all in the name, the candle melts are a fairly new product. And most of the time companies advertise their "tarts". Here's the low down on that name, it is actually A registered name that is a trademark of Yankee Candle Company.

We are not affiliated with Yankee Candle Co in any way. But we here at scented-soy-candles-info.com would like to thank them for being as gracious as they have been to the candle industry.

We call them melts in our product line but the names run as far as the imagination can take someone, from melts, to chips, to candle melts, you have probably heard them called many other names and will probably here more.

So, we got that out of the way, right?

The last thing I wanted to mention is....Whatever you do, don't go out and get a great soy tart, whoops, soy melt or any other natural wax or blend melt. And then use one of those melters that are heated with a real cheap tea light. Unless those tea light candles are also all natural wax and cotton wicked.

Well, It's just defeating the whole purpose of melting or burning natural waxes!

Just get you, a nice little candle warmer, with the stand with a 40 watt light bulb and a cup. On the melters we sell the cup is large enough for 2 of our 2 ounce votives and the melter is usually on 24 hours a day.

The 2 votives will last a couple of weeks then it's time to reload.

Just a couple of our melts will last a few days or more. For those of you that can't or don't want the flame at all. This is definitely the way to go.

Your website is incredible!!!! I learned much. I chuckled when you stated to not expect your "first pour" to be perfect.

LOL My first pour was last week and was mediocre. Try try again. Right?

Thanks, Linda
